Madeira Therapeutics to Present at the InvestMidwest Conference
(LEAWOOD, KS; March 25, 2009) - Madeira Therapeutics, a Kansas-based company specializing in pediatric pharmaceuticals, announced today that Peter Joiner, Madeira president and chief executive officer, will present an overview of the company at the 2009 InvestMidwest Conference on April 1, 2009, at 11:58am at the Westin Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City.
InvestMidwest, the Midwest's premier venture capital event, will provide the venue for more than 40 leaders of high-growth companies to present their cases to venture capitalists and other investors from throughout the United States. Madeira Therapeutics currently has two pediatric products in development: MT-001, the first ever liquid preparation of a statin for children and the elderly, and MT-003, a liquid preparation of an analgesic for the treatment of acute pain.
